Game:         Copa City
Role:            Lead Level Design

As Lead Level Designer on Copa City, I spearheaded the development of dynamic, modular urban environments that brought the spirit of football culture to life. My mission was to deliver a living, breathing city that could respond to player decisions, in-game events, and narrative shifts—seamlessly blending immersive worldbuilding with strategic gameplay.

I led the level design team in crafting complex city zones, including transportation hubs, fan districts, VIP areas, and protest-prone sectors, ensuring each space offered gameplay variety and visual authenticity. These levels were designed to reflect cultural diversity and adapt to both peaceful celebrations and high-stakes match tensions.

My responsibilities went beyond layout creation; I worked cross-functionally with narrative designers, coder, and technical artists to develop systems that merged gameplay logic with urban realism. I was heavily involved in prototyping, scripting, and integrating new mechanics that influenced crowd control, traffic flow, and event-based city transformations.

I also mentored junior designers, helping to establish workflows for modular environment creation and performance-optimized design in Unreal Engine 5.

More to come, because the game is still in development.
